Acne scars have a drastic consequence on the sense of worth of a person. A lot of us, in our adolescence, may have suffered from an acute case of acne; it is one of those unlucky and soul-burning personal rites of passage most of us had to go through while growing up. Foremost, we had to cope with the crimson pustules called pimples, and then, we had to face the scarring that is finally left behind.

Grime and sebum can clog skin pores, producing a condition welcoming to bacteria. The bacteria , in turn, cause zits.

Once we get over the pimples, we have to deal with the scars. Although there are acne scars that disappear with time, some do not. Living with these scars on our own faces can be a miserable experience.

There are 4 varieties of scarring caused by acne. Ice pick scars got their name because they leave pit-like marks on the skin’s surface. Boxcar scars are usually spread over on the sides of the head and the cheeks, and they could resemble scars left after a case of chickenpox. Keloidal and hypertrophic scars could be easily identified because of their raised outer membranes. Rolling scars look like shallow hollows on the skin.

A lot of people have at some point or the other had to face the problem of unwanted hair and have tried several techniques for hair removal. What hair removal method is most appropriate for you depends on factors such as the concentration or location of hair growth, the type of your skin and its sensitivity.

The most common way of getting rid of unwanted hair is shaving. While shaving is effective and inexpensive, it isn’t permanent and you need to do it regularly to maintain hair-free skin. For instance, men shave their facial hair on a daily basis. People also use shaving to get rid of unwanted hair from areas like chest or legs.

Another alternative is waxing hair off the body. It is a messy way of getting rid of unwanted hair that can generally not be done at home without outside assistance. The benefit of waxing is that the hair is pulled out from the root, and it takes a couple of weeks to grow back, ensuring freedom from unwanted hair for a longer time. However, you should remember that waxing causes pain and hence, it is not suitable for sensitive areas.

Acne is an a matter of serious concern, especially for teenage girls, as it appears suddenly and its marks stay long after the acne is gone. No matter how much you hate it, acne is an undeniable part of most teenagers’ lives and a fair amount of effort must be put in fighting these ugly bumps and checking their recurrence.

Acne is a condition caused due to the reaction of bacteria and excessive sebum secretion by the skin glands. During the healing period of this infection, a fibrous protein called collagen is formed. If collagen goes beyond normal levels, it results in a swelling, and if it is below normal, it leads to small depressions on the surface of the skin. Acne scars develop in both these cases. Adolescents are typically more susceptible to acne infection as their hormones rise suddenly at the time of puberty leading to greater sebum release.

Some of the general reasons behind an acne infection are application of cosmetic products that are not suitable for the skin type, using contraceptive pills and medicines, and other hereditary factors. A number of lifestyle aspects including diet that is not healthy enough and mental strain can also cause acne. However, there is no scientific proof behind the widespread myth that acne is caused by oily food.

The method removes excessive fat from the body by making a cut and sucking out the excess fat through a suction device, called cannula. When compared to the different traditional means of weight loss, Liposuction has certain benefits as discussed below.

The primary benefit of this technique is the speed with which the extra fat can be reduced.
